He holds a B.S. degree from Lamar University, is an ISA Certified Arborist, and is a licensed commercial applicator with the Texas Department of Agriculture. Mark is an ISA Certified Arborist & Texas Oak Wilt Qualified professional that has spent the last 12 years specializing in oak wilt management.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. stephen and mark are extremely knowledgeable and thoroughthey walked my property and my neighbors' property with me to assess the oak wilt risk. with arborist and other educational credentials, they were very forthcoming with oak wilt information as well as answers to other tree questions i had. they were also upfront about treatment expectations for trees already infected, what to look for to get ahead of a problem, and when treatment is actually necessary. called them initially, because my neighbor who is a hill country landscape architect uses them. she uses and highly recommends them; i echo her confidence in this duo.

Currently we have over 150 oaks on the property many in clusters. They were very clear that we had absolutely no issues or dangers and their services would not be required. As great as that was to hear, they walked the property for about 45 minutes and gave me insights into how oak wilt occurs and taught me when, where and how to cut as well as recommendations for general clean-up of juniper and cedar that I’d like to remove. It’s been 60 days since their visit and I’ve been able to implement their advice to great satisfaction. When offerring to pay for the consult they refused payment and said they were happy to build the relationship. This is the lind of great humanity I’ve come to appreciate and love in my 20 years in Texas. I fully endorse these folks and the integrity with which they approach their work.
